Independent installation of fog lights

Models with 4-and 5-cylinder engines

Fog lights from shop of spare parts look on a streamline body of Audi 80 not so well, besides, them difficult reliably to establish on the corresponding places. Therefore it is necessary to establish original fog lights, and it means that it will be necessary to replace the bumper panel on having openings for installation of fog lights. In addition you will need relays of fog lights and the original switch for the dashboard. Probably, it is necessary to put narrower shelf (also original detail) near the panel of switches. Installation needs to be made in this case as follows:

 PERFORMANCE ORDER

  1. To remove forward panels of a bumper (head body Elements).
  2. Below in an opening for installation of fog lights tips of already laid connecting wires are fixed.
  3. To connect wires, to insert fog lights.
  4. To establish forward panels with openings for fog lights.
  5. In the central switchboard to replace the wire bridge on a shtekerny cell of the relay 1 with the relay of fog lights.
  6. Cap in a control panel to replace with the original switch of fog lights (head Devices and auxiliary devices).
  7. Probably, you will need narrower shelf, depending on number of already available switches.
  8. It is necessary to lay still a wire from the switch to shtekerny station (on the additional block of the relay at the left under the dashboard). In case of doubts concerning color of a wire – be verified according to the section Electric circuits.
