At models it occurs to the 5-cylinder engine constantly (kontinuierlich) and management of this process is carried out elektronno (elektronisch) therefore our system of injection received the name KE-III-Jetronic.Action principle The primary form of this system of injection, K-Jetronic, worked purely mechanically by a principle «a lot of inlet air – a lot of fuel». And such simple devices as a regulator of enrichment of gas mixture at warming up of the engine and the starting valve, in addition provided a prisposablivayemost to difficult service conditions. To combine a lambda regulation (with adjustable catalytic converter) with classical system K-Jetronic without additional devices it was impossible. |
