Sequence of search of malfunctions

Whether the starter works

If the starter does not join or turned badly, read further the section «A cause of failure — electrosystem». If it, on the contrary, surely scrolled the engine, it is necessary to answer in turn the following questions further to narrow a search circle.

Whether give a spark plug spark?

To disconnect a wire tip from one of spark plugs, to turn out a candle, to insert into a tip. Now to connect a candle by means of an auxiliary cable for "lighter" to the block of cylinders (on an illustration the auxiliary cable is not represented for the best presentation). To ask the assistant to turn a starter. Do not touch a high-voltage wire and a spark plug – it is dangerous! Whether sparks are visible? If yes, pass to clarification of the following question. Whether fuel in injection system arrives?

To disconnect submitting топливопровод from the union in a motor compartment. Carefully: models to the 5-cylinder engine can have an emission of rather large amount of fuel under a high pressure. Therefore when weakening connection put on the union a thick rag. It is possible to extend submitting топливопровод by means of a hose and to lower its end in any capacity. Ask the assistant to turn a starter shortly.

If gasoline moves, the fuel pump should work. If is not present, read further the section Cause of failure — system of supply of fuel. If gasoline moves, as a source of malfunctions there is only an injection system. Or the fuel pump though works, but does not give the necessary pressure.
