Maple belt of the water pump
The drive of the water pump 5-and the 6-cylinder engine is provided with a gear belt – here can get off nothing. On another on models with the 4-cylinder engine: this engine cannot be maintained without a maple belt and by that without the water pump! Otherwise the most serious damages of the engine are possible.
Cold water is heavier, than hot, and therefore it can slowly circulate on the engine and a radiator and without the water pump. However this thermosiphon cooling, modern engines have not enough. In more detail a maple belt it is written in the section Generator.
