Removal and installation of a mechanical transmission (KP)

Removal of a mechanical transmission. Behind KP it is suspended only on one traverse (shooter) which is necessary for removing completely.

Front-wheel models

The car is necessary for lifting and fixing so that you could work both in a motor compartment, and under the car bottom. KP acts in film in the direction down.


  1. To remove a wire of connection with "mass" of the accumulator.
  2. To remove three top bolts, connecting the engine and KP.
  3. To turn off a wire connecting to a body — "mass" of KP.
  4. To remove the tip of the sensor of turns on KP; for this purpose to wring out tip clips. The same to repeat with the tip to the switch of headlights of a backing.
  5. To weaken conducting bandages, to separate plug connection to a lambda probe.
  6. To disconnect the bottom panel of a motor compartment (head body Elements).
  7. To disconnect a forward exhaust pipe from a collector, and also catalytic converter from the middle (main) exhaust silencer. To remove the corresponding part of the exhaust silencer.
  8. To remove back to a traverse.
  9. To remove a rod of a fork of gear shifting of KP.
  10. To disconnect from KP procon-ten system cables.
  11. To remove a protective leaf of a leading semi-axis.
  12. To remove leading semi-axes on the right and to the left of KP, to unscrew hinges in the direction to the left (holding thus the ends of shaft) and to tie up both conducting semi-axes.
  13. To remove the working cylinder of a hydraulic drive of coupling; the pipeline can remain connected.
  14. To prop up the top end of a steering soshka.
  15. To protect the engine supports from capsizing forward or back.
  16. To bring from below under KP a garage jack.
  17. To remove KP and a forward support of the engine.
  18. To turn out the bottom bolts connecting the engine and KP.
  19. Carefully to wring out KP from the engine by means of mount.
  20. Now on a jack carefully to lower KP.
  21. For installation to clear shlitsevy connection of primary shaft of KP and to grease with MoS2 paste or konsistentny V.A.G greasing. G 000 100.
  22. To check, whether directing plugs for KP centering entered into the block of cylinders of the engine.
  23. To check and if necessary to adjust gear shifting at established KP.
  24. Models with the 6-cylinder engine: to bring KP case at the left above at an angle 30 °, palpation on an exhaust pipe differently is possible.
