Nuts of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders of the 5-cylinder engine should be twirled in the represented sequence at first by the next moments of an inhaling of 5 N • m, then 10 N • m, and in the last turn of 12 N • m. |
At the left: on the 5-cylinder engine the crankshaft can be turned a nut of a pulley of the generator (a key of 24 mm). If the belt slips a little, it is necessary to load it with a hand.
On the right: a cranked shaft of the 6-cylinder engine turn the central bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft. As the tool the 12-faced replaceable face head of 24 mm with a graggers or the lever is applied.

- For this purpose in the car with a mechanical transmission on an equal surface it is necessary to include the fifth transfer and to roll away the car a little forward or back.
- On the 4-cylinder engine to put the bent cap key on 22 mm on the central nut of a pulley of the generator and to turn the engine through maple a belt. If the belt slips, it is necessary for pressing through between pulleys a free hand and by that to pull.
- On the 5-cylinder engine to put a rozhkovy wrench of 24 mm on the central nut of a pulley of the generator and to turn the engine in the same way, as 4-cylinder.
- On the 6-cylinder engine to put a 12-faced replaceable face head of 24 mm on the central bolt of a pulley of a cranked shaft and to turn a cranked shaft a graggers or the lever.
- Never turn the engine for a bolt of fastening of a gear wheel of a gear belt on distributive to a shaft at the removed casing of a gear belt! The gear belt can jump, result – engine damages.

Cylinder 1 installation in the provision of the top dead point (VMT) of the moment of ignition
In the four-cycle engine the piston two times come to the top dead point (VMT): the first time at ignition of the let-in gas mixture and the second time after emission of exhaust gases with beginning in summary repeated absorption of a mix of fuel/air. Usually at various adjusting works VMT of the moment of ignition of the first cylinder is necessary.

- 4-cylinder and 5-cylinder engines: to uncover, separating the breaker from the ignition distributor, a begunok of the distributor of ignition and a protective cover. Again to put on a begunok of the distributor and to turn the engine until contact a begunka will not be over a small label on the brink of the distributor. Thereby VMT is found.

- 6-cylinder engine: to remove a casing of a gear belt on the right and at the left (it is described below in this chapter).

- To remove a hose for air removal from a case. To disconnect a plait of wires if is available.
- To weaken a cable of a drive of "gas" and to extend it from a support.
- To unscrew fixing nuts.
- To remove overlays of rigidity.
- To lift a cover.
- If necessary to remove a maslootrazhatel.

5-cylinder engine: from an inlet collector to remove a hose of the amplifier of brakes.
- To remove the top part of an inlet collector and vpryskny nozzles (head «System of injection of KE-III-Jetronic»).
- To remove the distributive valve of stabilization of idling.
- To unscrew fixing nuts, to remove overlays of rigidity.
- To uncover.

6-cylinder engine: to remove protection of the engine.
- To unscrew lock bolts.
- To raise a cover.

- 6-cylinder engine: slightly to grease laying of a cover of a head of the block of cylinders on internal and outer side with silicone antifrictional means of D 007 000 04.
- To put on all four sides between sealing laying of a head of the block of cylinders and a cover of the bearing of a camshaft it is a little «Silimate» AMV 174 004 01 from a warehouse zapchaty Audi. To watch that the opening for oil below on a cover of the bearing of a camshaft thus was not hammered.
