- To weaken four top fixing bolts on an amortization rack. Thus to hold a rack.
- To remove an amortization rack.
- At installation at first to tighten the top bolts of an amortization rack (55 N • м).
- Freely to put the bottom fastening of an amortization rack, thus to replace самоконтрящуюся a nut.
- To lower the car on the earth all four wheels.
- Only now to tighten the bottom fixing bolt of an amortization rack the moment of 240 N • m. Rezino-metal plugs otherwise can warp.

- To unscrew the bottom fixing bolt on an amortization rack.
- To weaken four top fixing bolts on an amortization rack. Thus to hold a rack in order that all suspension bracket of the back bridge did not hit from within about a wing.
- To weaken and remove a fixing bolt of the cross-section lever of a suspension bracket at the top of an amortization rack.
- To remove an amortization rack.
- At installation freely to put the bottom fastening of an amortization rack, thus to replace самоконтрящуюся a nut and bolts.
- To tighten the top bolts of an amortization rack (55 N • м).
- Freely to screw a fixing bolt of the top cross-section lever of a suspension bracket, here too to replace bolts and самоконтрящиеся nuts.
- To lower the car on the earth all four wheels. If to tighten bolts of a suspension bracket of wheels on the raised car, rezino-metal plugs will warp.
- Only now to tighten the bottom fixing nut of an amortization rack the moment of 90 N • m and in summary to turn on 1/2 turns (90 °).
- To tighten a nut of a fixing bolt of the top cross-section lever of a suspension bracket the moment of 70 N • m and in summary to turn on 1/2 turns (180 °).

Removal of back shock-absorbers
Front-wheel models
Before replacement of shock-absorbers it is necessary to establish, what running gear is established on your car. Only in this case you can order the necessary shock-absorbers. It can be learned on the carrier of parameters of the car – the plate pasted in a niche of a spare wheel under a rug. Marking means:
- 1BA – serial execution
- 1BE – sports option
- 1BB – execution for bad roads

- To remove an amortization rack.
- To establish a natyazhitel of springs on rounds of springs and a few to compress a spring.

- At assembly to pay attention:
- The bottom end of a spring at the correct installation is directed on the left side of the car back, and on right forward.
- Color marking on a spring specifies the direction down to a plate of a spring.
- The fastening opening below on the shock-absorber shows perpendicularly to the movement direction.
- Assembly of elements should be made in an order specified in drawing below.

Removal of the back shock-absorber
All-wheel drive models
At all-wheel drive cars (Audi 80 quattro) the shock-absorber separates from the removed amortization rack by means of a natyazhitel of springs. It is easy to execute it.
It becomes heavier at installation: the corner of the bottom fastening of the shock-absorber to the top fastening of the shock-absorber should make in the established condition precisely 21 ± 2 °. Without an adjusting template V. A. G. 1752 which Audi workshop uses, it is almost impossible to establish so precisely. Front-wheel models

- To raise a back part of the car and to fix it.
