Dynamics of movement at a dry paving
That at bad coupling about expensive Torsen-differential operates correctly and witty, it is already impossible to deny. Therefore further explanation of that occurs in transmission of the all-wheel drive Audi car on the dry road here is given: as it was already mentioned, forward wheels pass on turns longer piece of a way, than back because back wheels spin smaller radius.
Proceeding from it, the Torsen-differential tells to the back bridge (because of its lower frequency of rotation) big traction force that supports a desirable tendency on an entrance in turn.
If the driver enters into turn too sharply and thus one of back wheels revolves, the differential immediately directs more traction energies to (during this moment) to "slower" forward wheels. Fast reaction of system leads to that more strongly forward wheels now pull, and it stabilizes the car. Effect – dynamic properties in a critical range on turns considerably improve.
