Check of level of oil in the main transfer of an automatic transmission
The oil grade is applied to the main transfer of an automatic transmission, excellent that is applied in a mechanical transmission. It should have viscosity of SAE 90 and one from the following specifications:
API GL 5 - MIL - L-2105B
Replacement of oil is not provided, however it is necessary to supervise level of oil,
- if the case of the main transfer is outside soiled by oil or
- ATF level in an automatic transmission rose or fell without signs of an external leakage. In this case, probably, "exchange" of lubricant means between planetary transfer and the main transfer as it is described in the previous section took place. Control of level of oil occurs according to the scheme described in the previous section.
